Retrieved [date] from http://www.ijea.org/v14n16/.Abstract The authors used artistic inquiry to study intersubjectivity in a weekly, stimulated creative arts therapy studio experience for one year. They found that the conversion of meaning from the meta-verbal, imaginal, aesthetic language of dance and visual art into verbal and textual discourse required complex translational processes. Personal narratives are presented which identify some challenges faced in translation and related data analysis. Strategies for building skills for translation of aesthetic material are provided to assist those conducting future artistic inquiries.
